Yeah, it can't do over 4GB apparently? But I don't go that big anyway. So it's not going to bother me.
But NTFS doesn't support files over 4gb does it, Gav? Or have I got it backwards.
Doesn't matter anyway, it has to be FAT for my PS3 to read it.

Say, if you were to download a Wii game or something, not that you would, it could be over 4gb.

Wrong way round dude

The Wii partition is formated as WFBS. So yeah, most of the files are DVD size but it's not a problem. Plus there's this thing called "scrubbing' which I know nothing about
*mind boggles*

Oh. >_<
My new drive came with preloaded software on it. I hate that. Stop using the advertised space for your shit!! I can't seem to remove it, just disable it from starting every time I plug the f**ker in.
Any ideas? It's WD Smartware.

Format the drive? Can't you unhide all folders and just manually delete it?
Tried deleting and formatting, can't do either.
Found this here - http://www.computer-aid.com.au/blog/2010/08/02/wd-smartware-removal/
in XP (you can use a similar process for Vista and W7):
Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> expand DVD/CD-ROM Drives -> right click on the "WD Virtual CD device" -> disable -> OK
Yeah, I've disabled it, but I can't delete it. Probably can't now even if I could as I've loaded most of my data onto it now.
Disabling just stops it starting when the drive is plugged in, it's still on the drive itself, just inactive. But is space used.
There are steps to remove it on the link I posted. Probably too late now.
Oh right, sorry. I'll check it out once I'm done backing up. Still an hour or so to go. :/
My new passport has a sticker on it which reads 'remove this label'. On the back, it has a small metal strip. What might this sticker be? Some sort of tracking thing? Is it worth keeping for any reason?

It might be covering up the electronic transponder in the passport thus preventing it being read electronically by any crook in the postal services.
But I don't really know. I don't recall such a thing when my new electronic passport arrived a few years ago.
