No, but you know what it's like, I often get asked to write letters by people and put messages in cards etc. Or maybe it's me feeling pressured by myself to come up with something funny! :)

If it's any consolation, Marc, I never expect you to write something funny when you're here. Pleased

It's a kindness so it is. Thank you Chip! :D

Phrp. I've started writing novel again, because I have nothing better to do today. I'm only 5 pages in- I'm NOT a fast typer. I do have an idea of where the story is going now though.

Woo!

Phrp.

I like this noise.

I've been saying Phrp and gurp and urp a lot over the last week. In real life and online. I'm not sure who I'v picked it up off.

Hi All. I feel better now!
I was feeling a bit intimidated by all the writers on this site, cos you all seemed so sorted. I thought I was the only one who has drawers bursting with my ideas for funny sketches, sitcoms, stories, verses, etc, that have never seen the light of day.
I am determined to do something constructive with all this stuff this year.
How did/does everyone else develop & market their work?

They hang around here Mezz, talking shite thus avoiding developing/marketing, or in most cases, writing in the first place. WElcome to procrastination central. Wave

Hey- I've written over 1700 words today! Shame most of them are utter shit. But still!

Also shame it's not stand up. I could really do with writing more of that.

Do you write stand up sitting down?

I went through a phase of writing whilst actually walking, but could never read my handwriting later on. Not a joke.

I was asked today if I write long hand, and I said no straight onto the laptop that way I don't have to write it twice and also I can't always read my writing. And that is true too. :)
