I was watching the 'Brittas Empire' when I suddenly made the connection that it was shot in Ringwood here in Dorset which is only a short distance from where I live. Also Buster Merryfield (Uncle Albert) was a very close neighbour and we were on speaking terms. Has anyone else got comedy connections?

That's what I used to call Wilfrid.
I live in the village where the not-so-great Killinaskully* was filmed.
*sitcom set in a small Irish village written by and starring Pat Shortt(Tom from Fr. Ted) in a number of roles and Fr. Damo from Fr. Ted as his sidekick.
