Suppose it depends on which library you go to - there isn't a library code that all libraries have to abide by. I work at a library in North London, and if you'd have returned a book and there was a fine on it, I'd have just said "There's a bit of money on there - are you able to pay that today? If not, can you just let your wife know that it's still on there? Obviously the sooner it can be paid off, the better." We allow up to £10.00 fines before we stop the public taking out books. Come to us, Leevilses!

This library is 2 mins away. North London is a bit of a walk. But thanks anyway :D

Up late Mr. Lee. Did you do ought for Mrs Lee on Valentines? Like cook a lettuce or what every vegetarians do. ;)

Up late? Tis quite early for me Mr. Gav. Oh, and I told her how lucky she was.

Speaking of Librarys I got a couple of books from the kids section.
I kept renewing them really late & they kept being surprised that I had no fine.
Obviously Kids don't get fines & adults shouldn't really be in the Kids section to start with.
What's the moral of the story?
Well I'm not a Paedo but I do like Judge Dredd.

It's not a great moral is it?

I only ever borrow the National Geographic from the library anyways. Where else can I get that sort of filth?
