King Of The Hill

Any love for this brilliant sitcom, IMO its better than all of it rivals ie The Simpsons and Family Guy, I am just getting to the end of series 13 and I don't know how I will cope with no more new episodes :( ?

It's fun but it's also a bit to cosy

The guy who plays John Redcorn was beaten up down the road from DaButt

I like it. Prefer Family Guy and South Park though. As is often said of King of the Hill, it could have been made as an actual sitcom because of its comparatively realistic plots.

I loved it; my Texas neighborhood is much like the one in the show. An hour from now all the men will be drinking beer on the side of the road.

You could try to fill the void with a New Zealand animated sitcom called Bro Town. It's great.

Do you have an annoying Korean neighbour who mocks you?

I like that Hank Hill is repressed enough to be English.

I think that character was Laotian.

I love it. Haven't seen any new ones for a few years though. It's never on at a regular time over here. Used to be on at 6pm before C4 bought The Simpsons.

I think they stopped releasing the DVDs after about season 5 too. Which is a shame.

Ya, last year I saw the DVDs of Series 1-5 in a specials bin marked "discontinued line".

you rub him all over your body?

To me, and to much controversy is the most sophisticated and my favourite family sitcom. So much more authenticy then other cartoons and family shows, with subtle humour and such unique storys even with its new episodes. A absolute classic.

After living in Texas for the last several years I have to admit that it's fairly realistic in its portrayal of life in the Lone Star State.

As mentioned above though why was it animated? There was nothing added by being a cartoon.

Not saying it wasn't quite funny though.
