The wife - who was runner-up at the Peterborough Poet Laureate contest - gave a reading of her latest work at her poetry club this evening. The still untitled piece was about a married cross-dressing queen and was actually rather funny.
Imagine my surprise therefore when she said she pictured me in the lead role. Worse still was that she read it out in what used to be my local.
