Been re-watching Nathan Barley, again, and catching up with season 4 of Mad Men.
Which I won't be able to see for free again, thanks to Sky being all modern and greedy and that.
I've still got Mad Men series 3 to watch; I'm falling waaaaaaaay behind.

I've met some gypsies and travellers and they were very nice.

I say no.
That's understandable, if they cut them down where else would you lurk?
Surely pretty much all one needs to know about gypsies can be gleaned from watching Papa Lazarou in the 'LoG'? (For more in-depth analysis one can also see Brad Pitt in 'Snatch' and selected episodes of 'Worzel Gummidge'.)
