My Dad passed away on Sunday.

On the bright side it was my Sisters Birthday so I got away with not getting her a present.
Just talking to a friend online who is a psychiatric nurse. If you think your job is bad just listen what he had deal with last night as a ward manager...
Had a shit shift last night. This guy ate his shit and we went in to clean it up, had to restrain him to do it, I started with his finger nails and his arse, then set to his mouth. It was all between his teeth and he tried to bite me as I cleaned. He at one point snatched the cloth from me and began stuffing that in his gob. It was tricky getting it from him without getting bitten.
Then the attack alarms went off from the ward next door. A guy was hossing tables and chairs at staff wanting to hurt them real bad. His excuse was that staff would not carry out his wish and kill him. It took 5 of us to get him restrained on the floor, we had to roll him onto his front to jab his bum. The nurse came with the injection but tripped over and nearly got me instead!! She should have put a cover/sheeth over the needle as she carried it but was a bit stressed so forgot!
