Yes, we can do without young beautiful women in skintight PVC on our screens.

Quote: Gavin @ January 19 2011, 6:21 PM GMTBane is the guy who broke Batman's back. Good character though you'd never tell from 'Batman and Robin'
He was a great character in the comics. What they did with him in the Arnie flick was terrible. Reduced to a cartoon goon for Poison Ivy; guuhh.

"I don't know where the hell that came from," Vaughn said. "I don't think it's a Fox image. It's not a pre-approved image. When I found out, I said, 'What the f**k is this s**t?' and Fox is running around trying to figure out what happened as well."
He continued: "It's like a bad Photoshop... it didn't reflect the movie. I was shocked when I saw it. I was like 'Jesus Christ...'"
The first (albeit somewhat blurry) image of the upcoming "Thundercats" cartoon reboot has hit the web, courtesy of a poster at the Thundercatslair.org Forums.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that Henry Cavill has won the coveted role of Superman, the iconic superhero.
I quite liked that last Superman movie, Superman Returns, although I couldn't tell you the name of the chap in it. They always seem a bit nice but bland. It's a great shame that Nic Cage Superman film never took off. That would have been pretty good.
Another completely bland looking non-face.
Bleh. (at least in that picture)
Can't they get an actor with a bit of character in him?

Bradon Routh. Was a good Clark but a bland Superman.
Oh God the Tim Burton Superman, black suit with knifes in the "S"
We all used the word bland.
I think that makes it a fact.
Choose some people with faces you bastards.

See if they knew what they were doing they'd show him as Clark because that'll make or break the film if he's convincing as Clark not as Superman.

That is true.

I liked him in Scott Pilgrim and Zack And Miri Make A Porno.

Yeah, but Superman's a more difficult sell as a superhero than say batman or Spiderman, especially in today's market. They get to be all dark and conflicted whereas poor old Superman's all clean cut and squeaky clean (unless somebody pops some red Kryptonite in his tea).
That said, I enjoy Smallville.
I hated Smallville for some reason. He is the absolute crowned king of bland, that boy.

Too much character-!
