Glen:

Brett:
Are you guys serious, this is Poker?

Vincent:
Oh it's Poker.

Glen:
Why Didnt'cha say so in the first place? (BEAT.)
OK. Who's got the most Red ones?

Like it, Steve, but may I suggest a bit of an edit with the ending?

For some reason it works better for me like this. :)

I agree
I was thinking of putting a beat in at the end. and it did seem a line too many
I shall Yoink your idea as the young uns say.

Cheers Dr Tim

Nice one, Freve. Reminds me of those sketches from The Fast Show, where the business men would act like kids.

Cheers Leevil.

Love it! My thoughts on the ending. All three men sit in silence, cigars in mouths, cowboy hats on, jazz music playing (or whatever). Each looks to the other, being careful not to let them see his cards. Each has a look of intense concentration on his face.

Finally, one says "So.... how do you play this game, anyway?"

Cheers Trollheart.
I like that idea a lot.
After the silly terms there are a few different ways to get the same type of ending across.

It made me laugh. Thank you.

Really liked this Steve. I agree with the others about the ending, and like Trollhearts suggestion. An alternative could be

Vincent:
Just remind me... it's the first one to get rid of all their cards right?

All the men sigh.

Glen (shaking his head):
Who are we kidding.

Fade

Focus on each men's sweating brows and darting eyes. Glen says to Vincent 'Your move'. Vincent slams down some scrabble letters on the table smiling

Vincent:
That's 'Quartzy'. Read 'em and weep boys.

:)

good stuff

It's good fun. I like it.

Bo.

Nice work, Sunshine!

I'd end on this line though...

Vincent:
Just remind me... it's the first one to get rid of all their cards right?

Lovely Steve (as always) :)

Really funny, but I would end it here as well. You don't need the last few lines.

Cheers all
I think the shorter ending is better.

And I always Agree with Mr Bussell because he has the greatest hair since Bobby Wheeler in Taxi.

Good one Steve. Shorter ending works better. My suggestion would be vincent with his head in his hands saying, 'i should have stuck to battleships' butthat's just me. Regardless, it was a good sketch.
