Tesco pay for their stores - they employ people - who pay taxes too which fund everything else. They create wealth - the labour government consumed it by screwing the economy and expanding he state.
On the subject of fact checking, amusing that you should pick a company that is famous for avoiding tax, Wanker, through offshore holding companies and such imaginative schemes as leasing back it's own stores from companies it set up in the Cayman Islands, thereby avoiding corporation Tax.
Tesco also famously shelters it's profits in elaborate partner arrangements, pays no VAT on it's online sales by shipping its DVDs and CDs from the UK to Switzerland and back again, and is currently involved in a long and continuing investigation by the Office of Fair Trading.
Next time you wan't to paint a dreamy little homily about capitalism and the tax system you might think to include a company that makes at least a half-hearted attempt to fulfil it's tax duty.
