Phwoar!! Lovey

I hope you were in the disabled loo, or it must have been a jolly tight squeeze.

We were in a normal loo and we were so shocked at how spacious it was. There was a lot of snow, trees and a lampost too though.

Was it a loo in Narnia?

Wow, you guys are really on fire tonight.

Play with your own matches yo.

Bought a ticket to see the Claudia Brucken and friends gig at Scala in London 2 March. Guests include Susanne Freytag (Propaganda), Paul Humphreys (OMD), Andy Bell (Erasure), Glenn Gregory and Martin Ware (Heaven 17) and Andrew Poppy. Here's her new single 'Thank You' taken from her new album, 'Combined': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVEWAipFKyM

How strange it is that it's just over 25 years since my very first gig watching the same singer perform with Propaganda at Norwich UEA. Coincidentally, the very first song I ever saw live - The Murder of Love - was broadcast on BBC's Whistle Test show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv7bhl5035Q

Y'know, for so long now I've put my family first and sacrificed loads so that they get what they want and do what they want so just for once I've decided to do something for me. Even managed to arrange a work meeting in London the same day so I won't have to pay the train fare! :D

Yep, I think that over the years many have been in the position of having to put their wife and kids before Andy Bell from Erasure.

Have a great time, mate. ;)

Jealous! :)

You won't have time to be jealous in your new job soon.

Wound up doing a reading at the Whitechapel Gallery last night. I signed up to it ages ago when a guy I know who taught me beginner's stand up asked if I'd like to be involved. He mentioned an audience but I figured it was the culmination of a writers class he was running and the students would just be bringing their friends along. Turns out it was a stage reading to an audience of 100 paying punters. Did not see that coming.

Did you read out-loud, or just in your mind?
