I liked this programme. It made me laugh.

I think you're missing the point. We're debating weather Brooker's a hypocrite or not and there's no way to do that without going onto other topics.

And such discussions going so far into other topics are still off topic and not welcome in this thread. You should be discussing the programe How TV Ruined Your Life - anything beyond that deserves its own thread.

I try my best but I have spelling difficulties so there's not much I can do about it.

You could use a browser with an auto spell checker.

I didn't find the show hilarious and am not sure if I'll tune in again. Poking fun at Threads isn't exactly original and I remember him going on about Noseybonk on one of his shows last year. I might watch if it's on as there's a few funny bits in there, but on the whole I found it a little dull.

The funniest bit to me was the vox pop with the geezer who said he'd chuck a frisbee up a pylon if David Cameron told him not to.

I can't remember that, but it does sound rather chortlesome.

But that bit where all the pens got hot and then the keyboards did...

They didn't do that when I was a kid.

Could there be a reason for it, do you think?

That extended clip from that vapid, vulgar and unfunny teenaged-aimed show made me cringe... What the hell were the imaginary audience laughing at? Argghgh!

Charlie Brooker's doing a lot better this episode, lots of new stuff.

Edit: Wait, they made it up...? But it seemed so real o_o

That's it! I've endured 20 minutes of faux belligerence and now I'm switching off. Its relentless hectoring tone is doing my head in.

I like some of Brooker's writing but I'm sorry, this show is irritating the arse off me. It's either stop watching it or smash the TV.

Eh?

Eh. Just felt a bit dull and aimless.

Ha ha. Yes, it was a spoof. The 'Shitpeas Productions' credit should have hinted that! ;)
