In that London.
Just had a cracking carbonara for £5.95 at this little place near Borough Market. And I mean a REEAAALLY good carbonara - exceptionally tasty. Will definitely get my lunch from there aagain.
Yumyumyum. What was the place called?
Quote: Griff @ January 24 2011, 2:21 PM GMTThat's a good find Tuumble as Borough Market typically charges the sort of prices you might expect from black market gangsters during the apocalypse. "Tiny morsel of cheese Sir? That'll be your car and two family members please.". Last time I went there was a woman selling Christmas cakes for about 70 quid.
I lost an arm for a chocolate brownie... was tasty mind.
Were you feeding it to a tiger?
The place is called Alma's restaurant Pizzeria which is at 30 Borough High Street.
We were treated very well and all agreed that the food was excellent regardless of the price but it looks like we may have caught them on a good day...

Just seen a fat security guard chasing someone from Primark. He ran for about 5 seconds and gave up. Was funny.
I had this misfortune to go in Primark before Christmas. There was a woman having her pushchair/pram searched. They did it in front of everybody, 2 security guards and 3 cops. I had to laugh.
I've been in the Birmingham Primark on a late Saturday afternoon and it's like Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome in there.
Being interviewed on Talk Radio Europe tommorow. Alistair Cambell is on before me.
Ill. Worse than I have been so far.
Just got back from David Bussell's Clown Chowder gig.
Awesome kebab on the way home.
