Comedy Rant

What shows to watch?

Not much of a rant

Watch as much as you can possibly be bothered with, even the stuff that doesn't look good.

Stop watching the stuff you don't enjoy and continue to watch the stuff you like.

Unfortunately, there isn't much good comedy out there.

Fear not, Coming of Age starts tonight.

Don't think it will appeal to me. I'm in my forties.
I don't dig the kids in da street, man.

Aaron likes it, and mentally he's in his seventies.

There's been loads of good stuff in the last year; a lot of it not British, however.

Are you going to tell me what they are, or am I going to have to guess?

Good or halfway decent recent British sitcoms include Peep Show, Rev, The Trip, Miranda, Pete vs The World and The IT Crowd.

There's nothing great on at this moment, which is why God invented DVD players.

Peep Show (can't get into, its the POV I don't like), Rev (NO), The Trip (NEVER), Miranda (no way), Pete vs The World (seen clips, no) and The IT Crowd (not really seen).

When people say this about Peep it baffles me.

Have you said the shows you do like somewhere, to give us a clue? (I thought you had, but can't find it now.)

30 Rock, Modern Family, Parks And Recreation; there's three top class sitcoms right there.

Never heard of Parks And Recreation!
The shows I enjoy at the moment are QI, ISIHAC, Mock the Week, The News Quiz, HIGNFY. I watch Two and a Half Men, but its not as good as it was. Started to watch Not Going Out, and The Big Bang Theory.
My favourite shows from the past are Black Adder, Fawlty Towers, Hancock, Round the Horne, ISIRTA, The Goodies, Steptoe, The Good Life, Yes Minister, Seinfeld and Frasier.
That should be enough to be getting on with.
