Not far from Exeter and I am going to look at Bristol as well. It's just a shame that there really isn't much action in Plymouth. I called a few bars this morning asking if they did open mic, and while most did, when I asked if they did stand up as opposed to just music, most of the people I spoke to answered 'Er, erm, not sure, I suppose we could', which would suggest not much goes on at all!

Jo, have a loom at finger exercises for dyspraxia. Paul Savage swears by them as a way of distracting nervous energy. Loads of comics have a routine before going on stage (some even do star jumps) to get rid of excess energy, which is I think what you need.
It's a shame you live in Mackemsville and not Geordietown, I would happily meet up with you to riff material and practice and stuff.
And lez out.

I believe James Cotter is the figurehead, if you will, of it.

Very true.

For me that would only make things more complicated.
Shush.
