Yeah I think he is utterly fantastic for some reason too. His slightly nerdy persona seemed to fill a niche on panel and interview shows, I don't think there's generally that many around, so I think it's the contrast we get between him and the cocky stand up types (Frankie Boyle etc.) that makes the shows funny. Forgive me if I've been a bit too anal for this time of day. Good morning.

My guess is that David Mitchell finds David Mitchell a bit annoying.

I agree, he seems like a nice chap and he's funny as well. I definitely prefer him to Robert Webb.

David Mitchell is ace. Is he overexposed? Every time I sit down to watch something and see he's on it, I think 'nice one', and feel that little bit happier. I don't really think he's 'witty' as such though, as a lot of people seem to be saying. He has quite a unique style, and it's very funny and often food for thought at the same time, but not really 'wit based' I would say.
He has started to grate on me lately...especially that 'Go Compare' ad he's now doing on the radio. How could he associalte himself with such an annoying ad? Money?

I agree. He comes over quite arrogant sometimes.
I really like him. It Fry and Gatiss who get on my tits. He's better than both of them standing on a ladder.
I love all three of them.
