Best sitcom episode ever Page 2

Best ever?

Hmm...

Runners and riders for me:

1 - The Office Comic Relief episode. Others have said similar, with good reason.
2 - I'm Alan Partridge, the stalker episode. Another well-loved classic, though there are probably three from that first series that I'd rank in my top ten.
3 - Phoenix Nights Alternative Comedy Night episode. "I want my money back!" "I wanna moonwalk, son. Life's a sh**ter." Pure class.
4 - Early Doors Big Boy's Beano. A superb end to a pretty much flawless series.
5 - Human Remains episode 3 "All Over My Glasses." Funny and bleak, my kinda stuff :) "You can't put gays in a shed, they like the darkness." Top stuff.

As soon as I list this, I'll probably think of about seven more. :)

The winner for me? Close, but I'll have to go with The Office. Brent's dance still makes me cry with laughter, and I've seen it far too often.

Aaron, the "one season wonder" that ran Saturday was "Brotherly Love" it has the guy that plays Hugo in the Vicar of Dibley..This one is not so hot..all of the rest so far have been quite funny,,Valentine

any partridge series 1

end of topic

Red Dwarf -- Back to Reality (series 5)

The last episode of the first series of Joking Apart

Only Fools and Horses -- 'Mother Nature's Son', the Peckham Spring Water episode.

The Coupling episode where Geoff is talking to the Israeli girl and shouting 'Breasts' a lot.

Nathan Barley when Nathan copies Dan's hairstyle.

Mighty Boosh on the desert island was superb and the 'door of Canundu' episode nearly as good.

Peep Show thinks it's series two, when Mark figures out Sophie's hotmail address was brilliant.

Phoenix Nights Max using the headsets to get chips and running back when 'it's all kicking off back here'.

All classic

Dan

One Foot In The Grave - series one, episode three - 'The Valley Of Fear' is superb. So much happens in thirty odd minutes one can easily start believing another episode must've started.

The Young Ones - series one, episode six - 'Flood' is also outstanding.

As is M*A*S*H - series one, episode fifteen - 'Tuttle'.

There must be dozens, but those three were first to spring to mind.

1.) Alan Attraction from series one of I'm Alan Partridge.
2.) The Soup Nazi - Seinfeld.
3.) The Simpsons episode where Dustin Hoffman provides the voice of Lisa's substitute teacher.
4.) Only Fools and Horses - the chandelier episode.
5.) Motherboy XXX - Arrested Development, season two.

The Jolly Boys' Outing.

i pick, open all hours and the one where he gets that really rubbish van for granville then tries to sell it as a good little runner, and then there is early doors when tommy gets a job,
TOMMY: it's not so much the job i hate it's the people i work with, they don't like me and i don't like them, if any of them come up and talk to me now i tell them to piss off
LIFTS UP A LOLLY POP MANS SIGN.
class
and then there is the episode of men behaving badly wen they have the bbq in there back garden
all of these in my view are great but there is so many out there, and so little time. ow and the jolly boys outing with the bus and a great song from chas and dave

Definitely the best ever OFAH in my book. Almost every cast member is in it too. The show really hit a peak then.

I know I already said The Office in an earlier post but have some more favs:

The Mighty Boosh - Electro
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace - Hell Hath Fury
Green Wing - Joanna's Birthday
Peep Show - Series 1 Episode 2 A.K.A Nazi Love
The Office - Training

Thats it off the top of my head, I'm sure I've probably missed a few good ones.

Dad's Army - The Deadly Attachment
Green Wing - Tangled Webs
Porridge - No Peace for the Wicked
Blackadder Goes Forth - Goodbyeee
The League of Gentlemen Christmas Special
Black Books - Elephants and Hens
Yes Prime Minister - The Key

Green Wing-ep. 6 of series two-even if only for Guy's keyboard scene!
