Plus originally there was a different ending which was deemed to bleak apparently.

They include the alternative ending in story board form on the DVD. It's certainly more original, but something about it didn't sit right with me. Seemed like it was more of a throwaway idea and they hadn't really thought it through. Seems like it would have been full of holes if they took it to conclusion.

Unless you're talking about the alternate filmed ending, which is literally 5 seconds in the last scene.

Is it something to do with a total blood transfusion or something? An ending they used in western-vampire film Near Dark, and stretched credulity in an otherwise exacellent film.

I'm on about the ending when he got shot and wakes up in the hospital again. Instead of in the cottage.

Hmmm, I haven't heard of that one. I thought I was pretty clued up on 28DL.

Shutter Island. Enjoyable, but could have done with being half an hour shorter.

My only problem with that film is that they go on to explain the end for ages, as though you should be open mouthed in shock, where as in fact it seems pretty obvious from almost the get go.

Yeah, the ending certainly isn't the rug-pull they hoped. And there is a bit too much exposition a long the way.

I saw 127 Hours yesterday.

Very obviously Danny Boyle. Thought it was fantastic. I'm sure most of you know the main bit of the film...but I managed to watch it. I couldn't watch the climbing bits... scared of heights.

I'd definitely recommend it.

I'm stumped. What is the main bit of the film? Pleased

I gave it a round of applause but felt guilty afterwards.

Watched Despicable Me last night. Wasn't too bad.

What is the sound of one hand clapping?
