Meat.......or beet? Page 32

Do you suffer from the meat guilts? (ie feeling bad about the dead animals) or are you just generally curious?

Both. I never discuss it with Elliot really. Or y'know, at all, because it either ends up in an argument or I keep saying "Why?" and being a pain.

The only reason veggies ARE veggies is to annoy meat eaters.

Elliot loathes being asked why he's vegetarian. I asked him once years ago and never did again because he looked so awkward.

Aw!

I hate being asked! I don't have a preprepared answer.

I would think vegetarians did have a pre-prepared answer, to be honest, but I guess that's a bit naive. I probably did ask Elliot almost three years ago now (wow...), and basically every family member of mine has asked him too unless I told them not to. My nan was very annoying and said "Ohhh, you'll probably not be vegetarian for long...". A lot of times.

Well, I could tell you the long boring story of why I became one. But when you first meet people, it's not the best convo starter. Plus, it gets a bit tiring have the same discussion/argument over n over. It's probably just best to say, "I don't like meat." to which one would hope the reply would be, "fair enough".

I kind of know why Elliot is vegetarian, but it was very odd for the first little while when I was with him and he wouldn't really speak about it. It's quite a big part of his life to him, I think.

If you're that awkward talking about vegetarianism, you're parents maybe waiting a long time for grandkids.

For a start, we're like, nineteen...

I was out for Christmas day and had steak
I was out for Boxing day and had sea bass
I am out today and don't know what meat I will have. I may or may not update this post later.

I had gammon and Lamb. Both were bloody marvelous Lovey

IS it that you don't like meat or don't like the whole ethos of killing a living thing in order to eat it?

I did mean to put, I don't like the taste of meat.

If you're genuinely asking me now. I do like the taste of meat, I even try to replicate it the best I can now. The main reason of WHY I don't like meat is because when I see a chicken fillet, I see the whole chicken. And I think, "What right do I have to eat you?" And seeing as I don't believe in God, I don't believe the animals were placed here for us to eat, although I won't deny anyone else the right to think the opposite.

I'm an insatiable chicken rapist and I hate the idea of eating something I've shagged

Yuck I suspect they'd prefer it if you ate them
