For the last few weeks (or is it months) there seems to be a rolling debate on these forums about which shows could be considered racist. Have our concepts of racism changed?

Yes it's 2 white actors dressing up/blacking up. But is it so offensive when these are realistic and affectionate simulacrums as opposed to hideous charactures?
And the Japanese school girls? Surely it's mocking the lumpeness of the white actors and a genuinely odd cultural trend?

Is Frankie Boyle challenging puling, patronising attitudes in the media by using racist iconography? Surely the Green Mile sketch is really mocking an infuriatingly patronising view on poor black people by emphasising a far more empowering stereotype?
And the use of the P word gives a shock value, but in this case to a shocking sentiment.
What does anyone else think?
