Watched the movie Enchanted for the first time on the Beeb this afternoon. Bought the DVD for my kids last year, but had never seen actually it myself. Very good indeed. A nice idea, well-written and executed. Surprised this didn't get more praise and attention when it first came out (maybe it did but I was too busy writing bile on the BCG about Big Top to notice). Yes, it's a little patchy in places, but overall I thought a really great light-hearted comedy for the whole family, with a few strong comedy ideas. (And Amy Adams, one for the Dads perhaps, but a great lead performance as well.) :)

I saw that. It did have some interesting ideas.

A Prophet. Cracking French prison drama about the rise of a criminal kingpin. Nice dear-getting-hit-by-a-car moment too.

Likely Lads Christmas special. Not the best, but a few laughs.

I didn't realise Bob was such a bastard!

It's a sort of proto Peep show innit

Hah! Yes. :D

I'm going to watch Please Give in a bit. I fear it may be dull though.

It bored me. I've turned it off.

Is that one your gf got you?

No, I just read about it online the other day, so decided to check it out. It's a bit too hip and intelligent for me.

I don't think we got to the end of that film. Not because it was bad, I just remember not being in the mood. It was an odd one.

:D

Toy Story 3
Good, but I wouldn't say it was the best of the three.

And the A Team.
I love it when a Franchise comes to nothing.

Of Gods and Men. Two hours of watching monks chanting and washing their smalls.

I've just seen that but it wasn't a movie. Teary
