A PROHIBITION ERA, ELLIOT NESS FIGURE
I'm gonna clean up this town!

CUT TO:

NESS CAREENING DOWN THE ROAD IN A STREET SWEEPER.

good clean humour. Like it.

:D :D :D

You get better and better, and shorter - which is my favourite combination. Scripted v Improv - you provide your own answer. :)

Thank you very much. Now anyone know a street sweeper so I can shoot this thing?

That's a bit harsh - he does a good job.

You'll have to find a professional because it's such a hard thing to try and emulate.

Like this one, great quickie.

Re: filming. I'm sure you could 'borrow' some stock footage of a road sweeper from above, so you avoid seeing the driver. Or even get the footage first and dress as the driver in the previous shot.

HTH

Dan

Nice idea, but I really want to see the look of steely determination in his eyes as he trundles down the road.

That sounds like a job for an intercut ECU. Negating the need for anything else in frame but the steely eyes.

coupled with a dragnet style soundtrack

Laughed out loud at that one. v good!

All good ideas, thank you.

This really reminds me of either a joke I heard or made up a long while back. (Tell me if you've heard it)

EXT. OUTSIDE A LARGE FORBIDDING VICTORIAN SCHOOL BUILDING. DR WATSON AND SHERLOCK HOLMES APPROACH

DR WATSON:
What sort of school is this?

SHERLOCK HOLMES:
Elementary my dear Watson

That's nice. Reminds me of the joke about Holmes and Watson sticking lemons up their jacksies.
