Hi guys. What channel do you think best suits a new teenage sitcom? I know Channel 4 are really dominating at the moment.

;) Channel dive?. ps, get to bed.

Moved thread. Please use correct English in future posts. Thanks!

BBC Parliament? God TV (a personal favourite)?

(BBC Three and E4, I suppose... see, that's the kind of specialist knowledge you can find here on the BCG, the gen that's not easily available to the general public...)

BBC Four.

Depends how teenage, and what you want the audience to be. If you are looking for a specific under 18 audience, then BBC Switch on BBC2 is worth considering.

BBC Switch has been cut.

BBC3 is "supposed" to be for 16 - 25 but I don't know anybody in that age bracket who watch it. Not even 13 - 16. In fact, they think it's babyish and juvenile.

Apart from Being Human.

ITV is for game show and XFactor numpties

ITV2 is for numpties who like Jordan and that Paris freak.

I don't think C4 suits the teenage crowd. Far too surreal.

Maybe E4 would be better suited.

Teenagers can like surreal stuff, just look at The Mighty Boosh.

Yes, but it's more popular with the 20 somethings.

If you say so.

Thinking about it, E4 or BBC3 are the best bets.

But I don't think a new teen sitcom stands a chance at the moment, unless it has something different to offer than Inbetweeners, E20, Coming Of Age, etc.

thank you to all of you that responded I appreciate those of you who gave good feedback, I am aware I did make some spelling erros but please don't snob me for that. check out the amatuer trailer we put together and pls give me some feedback
