Well I could have taken some holiday, but I'd rather use it for something fun.
What does your job actually do>?
At my last job I wasn't allowed to take holiday over Christmas. I was most perturbed! At the two jobs before that I always booked one or two weeks off. It is morally wrong to make people work at Christmas.
