Was their present to him: their permission to take your hand in marriage, the Robyn?

I can hear a drip somewhere.

I don't like drips, they are expensive.

Noooo. Everyone has said that. But it was a CD player, which my parents keep saying means he has to marry me anyway, like a guarantor.

Yup. Ours turned out to be a leak in a pipe that was boxed in. I now have a big mess, a frazzled husband and a mini flood.

My girlfriend confuses me. She said she doesn't want cookware as a gift. But she always swoons over the fancy cooking appliances, almost suggesting that they would make the perfect gift.

Why are women so confusing? :S

On the blob, mate.

:( Sorry about that.

Hope mine isn't that. You've got me worried now. ( Not that it takes much to do that.)

Came up with a book concept last night when I couldn't sleep, so I have started writing it.

TELL US!

Or at least give us a hint.

Nothing particular exciting. Just a slightly different spin on analogue apocalypse story. Written my my intro and am a couple of pages into my first chapter.

Laughing out loud

Well me then, I need some ideas! Truth be told.

Robyn has been slaving over Middlemarch all day, but does not envy Elliot who went Christmas shopping today, or for him having to lug his present from my parents home last night.

did you buy him a set of 80 kg training weights then?

Analogue? Stupid autocorrect! That should have read 'a zombie apocalypse'.
