Not Going Out - Series 2 Page 40

Yep, congratulations to all involved. Well deserved another series.

Double celebration day - more NGO and no more Catherine Tate Show. Well done all round.

Laughing out loud Maybe Lee needs a catchphrase... 'Am I northern?' maybe?

Are you having a laff?

Dan

Excellent news about series 3. It would have been madness for the BBC not to recommission their only funny sitcom.

Super, smashing, brilliant! :D

Lazy journalism indeed; a son called LouiSe? Hails from the town of Blackport? I know this stuff is written on the cheap these days, but you do expect some checking of basic facts ...

I like not going out.

Does the lower case indicate this is a general lifestyle statement, or do you mean that you like staying in and watching Not Going Out?

I am very pleased for you all to be getting another series. As yet it hasn't tickled my funny bone and I'm still miffed about the subtitle omission but hey if it makes lots of other people laugh that has to be a good thing.

Hello new to this site, but found this thread as we've been talking about Not Going Out on another forum and with similar views. I'm pleased the show will be back for a new series but please can we have more of a focus on Lee and Tim. Lucy just isn't that likeable or funny she just comes across as cold to me. The show should be based around your funniest characters, and Tim should be in it much more.

Welcome, cant agree with you there.I actually love the scenes Lucy Loveyis in.
It would not be as good if everything revolved around Lee&Tim.Its like fools &
horses in that not just Dellboy with the best lines they are shared around.I
thought Sally Bretton lifted this series to another level.I for one would be not
be looking forward so much to series 3 if she's not in it.

I think I agree with both. There's something kind of cold and not-quite-right about her character, I agree. But at the same time, Sally Bretton is indeed very pretty, and I think that the show would be weaker without the character. Just needs a bit of development. Perhaps Andrew needs to take a bit more of a hands-on approach this next series; I get the impression that he didn't do all that much in S2?

He should be in it!
Tim's cousin. Moves in with Lee, becomes his new best friend.
Jealousy ensues.
No need for women at all!

And the next step in Zoo's fantasy; the three of them wrestling nude in melted chocolate.
