The 'Hollow Promise' award:

BCG Podcast

An improved BCG 'Search' function

:(

Can I suggest this award is renamed 'Most Delayed Promise' - as they're both still happening! I had a meeting about the Podcast Project last Wednesday as it happens. It's going slow because the podcast is going to cost to do properly (this isn't going to be some back-of-fag-pack thing - it's going to be a properly produced and marketed comedy programme) and I've still got my day job at the moment sucking up my time - imagine coming home from work then having to try and keep this site updated in your spare time :( I'm knackered... but slowly getting there now though...

I'm looking forward to the new ITV reality show where C-list celebrities compete to see who can best decorate a mammoth cake baked in the shape of actor Charles Dance's head - Icing on Dance.

Errr

Excellent. :P

I don't know who Charles Dance is but that is still very funny Mr. Walker. :D

Excellent. :P

Cheers, guys, very kind of you to say so. In many ways it's the tortuous gag I was born to write.

I think Charles Dance gets referenced in the 5 Live episode of The Thick Of It. Can't remember the gag, though.

I think it's probably a different (& funnier) one...

I hope you are not charging for it because I have texted it to loads of people.

Forget them! You don't need that comedy series! Strike out on your own with more Charles Dance themed humour. Take it from one whose had experience of... well just take it from me (oo...er)

Thanks, though I don't want to become famous just for writing Charles Dance-themed gags! I'd like to branch out, maybe working in the future on a pun-based joke about actor Julian Sands, for example?

Micheal Caine furniture will not be appearing in the Wicker chair man.

(See? It's not as easy as it looks...)

Why do people keep casting him?

The Riddle of Julian Sands

He plays a Shakespearean dentist, optometrist who specialises in the elderly.

Sands eyes, Sands teeth, Sands everything
