I feel terrible for putting the picture up now and it's not often I feel terrible.

You always feel good to me.

So you reproduce the pic on the page immediately following mine?
How supportive is THAT?
I'll tell you what I'll do - I'll delete my posting if you delete yours.
Any good?
Nice kebab.

(I'd like to point out that my "caption" meant to indirectly reference the 'Miranda' & 'Female Comedians' threads... Though I realise the attention isn't really being focused on my post... Er... I'll shut up now. )

Lol, good attempt at redirection. :/
But yes that's fine. You first.
Of course the only reason I quoted it was precisely because you're always deleting your posts, presumably so you can deny they ever happened (Can't think of another reason.)

I understood that perfectly Tim, and I'm sure others did too.
Neither of us was having a go at Nat, personally.
The pic could have been ANYbody.
The letters and the hands-position were just begging for comedic attention.
Quote: zooo @ December 20 2010, 8:01 PM GMTYou first.
Done.

Well, think harder.
If someone on this site says I've done something and I deny it, is ANYone even remotely likely to believe me?
If someone on this site says I've done something, that's me convicted without further ado.
We ALL know that.

Do we?
Off the top of my head, the only reasons I'd remove a posting are:
a. it's been deemed off-topic and is therefore just clogging up the thread.
b. having posted it, I realise it's off-topic.
c. having posted it, I realise it might give offence that is not intended.
d. it's an original 'work' and I don't want it published here permanently as it might affect its chances of publication elsewhere.
d) I can understand.
The rest, I can sort of see where you're coming from, but as I've said before all it does is REALLY confuse threads (and readers) so we'd really appreciate it if people wouldn't go around deleting things.
If it is off topic, we'll grey it out for you.
Okay, so I was quite pleased when that picture popped up, but now I feel like something horrible has happened that might make me want to cry. Anyone care to fill me in? PM is good.
On the subject of point (c), messages on Internet forums are wide open to having their tone and motivation misinterpreted.
The simplest example is that being called a **** in jovial fashion by your best friend is very different from having it snarled at you by your worst enemy. But when a relative stranger types it on a forum board, who's to say what's intended?
It's not usually a problem on a non-comedy forum where name-calling in jest is rare but on a comedy forum where 'attacks' of various sorts ranging from jovial to nuclear are commonplace, it's a BIG problem.
It's all good, I've seen the offending picture, and frankly I love it
Shall we put it back?
Looks like I'm enjoying it!
