I figure it's always worth having a look in on someone's absolute favourite film. That said, last time I was at his house I noticed 3 DVDs of Ronin.

Ronin's a great film.

Batman and Ronin was awful

It had a good car chase. Let's agree to disagree about the rest.

It's an odd film some great action sequences, but totally lacking in substance and weirdly structured.

It's certainly got a lot of problems, not least its way too busy for its own good, but I really like it. And compared to other late period De Niro, it's a masterpiece.

Is it the one with Leon in? (Not his actual name.)

That's the one, Jean Reno. It's got Stella Skarsgard in as well, another great European actor.
