Seems an odd career choice.

Whatever career she might have had, she might as well wave goodbye to it now: http://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2010/12/16/12400/sarah_millicans_a_loose_woman
Has the world gone completely mad? She's only been doing stand-up for five minutes and was quite successful but obviously that's not enough. Still, everyone else is joining ITV at the moment. Must be it's high-quality and critically acclaimed output...
Edit: Beaten to it.
Ugh, yes, how very disappointing.
Bit weird!
Maybe she thinks she can make it watchable. Raise the quality a bit.
In fact, she could slowly get rid of the harpies and bring in good people. Emma Kennedy and Mel & Sue, please! Make it the new Light Lunch.

Not many of us earn huge hourly rates for thoroughly enjoying ourselves so I don't think we can blame Sarah for joining Loose Women, can we?
It must be an absolute hoot.
And she's doing another 60 stand-up dates, commencing January, so she hasn't retired from from the business.
She does actually like Loose Women though. As it is. I fear that she is falling into the pigeon hole that her critiques had given her; that she appeals to sad middle aged women. Maybe she's subconsciously going along with that. I feel like I've been cheated on

No one is blaming her. She is going to be on a show which she enjoys, which is fair enough. I am still sad though because I think it's beneath her.

Unless you keep your boyfriend's willy in your handbag, you almost certainly HAVE.
(What a great line that would be for Sarah Millican!)

It's not often you're wrong twice in so few characters Ronnie
she hasn't retired from the business.
More's the pity.
I can't stand Loose Women, it's not the format, it's the women on it, especially that one off Coronation Street, she's a pain.
I'm looking forward to Sarah doing a Manford and having to resign in shame when she's caught with naked pictures of men on her mobile. Go Girl!

I don't mind the one who used to be married to Chris Evans. But all the others are horrible idiots.
Well I hope she's got better material than she used the other night at that Royal Variety thing, my lordy was that weak, imo of course. Nice enough style yes but surely, drawn out conversational non gags based on shopping and phone calls isn't going to make her rich and famous. Is it And on one 'joke' she veered horribly close to VW land. It must be a gender thing, I definitely do not get what others say they find really funny from her.
