BBC Three Controller

Zai Bennett's taking over from Danny Cohen at BBC Three. As ITV2 Controller it's hardly the best channel to be coming from but I wonder if the comedy output will stay fixated on the teens/early twenties.

EDIT: Maybe I should have read that properly, as the real story is Danny Cohen is controller of BBC One! http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010/oct/15/danny-cohen-bbc1-controller

'Bennett said: "BBC3 is on fire at the moment...'

If only that were true. :( Presumably this guy's been hired due to his willingness to piss on it if it were...

I would imagine that the channel's role within the BBC stable and its target demographic are defined above the controller's paygrade, so there's no reason to suspect it will change any.

The real story's how you managed to miss that news for 2 months! :P

I have been busy slagging Count Arthur Strong off! I can't do *everything*! :)
