How much longer have you got at university all together? Assuming you don't do any postgraduate stuff.

I'm halfay through in January. 1.5 years left.

Ha, well in a TV/Film Production Team, PA stands for Production Assistant, and it is possibly the most important job in the team, quite highly paid. Basically second-in-command to the Director, she (it's always a woman as far as I know, 'cos men are incapable of doing it) organises getting everything done, creates the final shooting script by collating all the requirements of the sub-teams, "Calls the Shots" on studio recordings etc. Basically she has to think of at least 3 things all at the same time, most of the time.

In a more mundane office though PA usually means Personal Assistant.

I know what it means usually, but I don't want to know what it means in this context!
