Where in the rules does it say Showcase is immune from criticisim?

I don't think it does. But there's no point in expecting any constructive criticism to be acted on, because posting in Showcase declare it to be finished work.

I think it's a very valuable development. It means I won't waste time suggesting changes when they aren't wanted - something that happened in Critique.

I've critiqued 16th century plays.

The writer is dead, the director, actors, audience all dead and rotted to dust.

In essence I am pissing on the graves of those who have lain in them for centuries.

Who cares if critique is constructive? Criticism it is an end in it's self.

Like me calling you a pointy headed, muesli eating, Guardian reading, sandal wearing, Liberal hippy.

This.

If I had to describe Godot in one word, I couldn't do better than 'succinct'. Laughing out loud

There's never been any need to describe me in one word -or many, for that matter. Just enjoy me.

I do, Godot. I do.

You might be a **** but I have to admit you're a funny ****.
