Alan Partridge Online Episodes - Good or Bad Idea? Page 7

I wouldn't call it a sketch show as it's all about the same character, in the same situation.

Either way, it's damn entertaining. Really well written. I've loved every one of them so far. Only criticism is that there's no way on a tiny digital radio station Alan would be getting as many listeners as it sounds like he's got (based on the emails, txt etc he reads out)

(All the episodes are here for anyone reading this that might have missed one: https://www.comedy.co.uk/features/alan_partridge_mid_morning_matters/)

Hope it gets a DVD release in it's own right.

Some funny lines, but I've been a bit bored by the limitations of the setting.

Episode 5... :D

Again, some great writing coupled with a brilliant performance. I personally find this series is making me laugh more than series 2 of I'm Alan Partridge, partly as it's in keeping with the more underplayed, nuanced performances seen in series 1. (I prefer Alan when he's not edging towards broad humour.) And partly because it seems that the script has been worked on more diligently.

(Oh, and - once again - it's not a sitcom.)

Nowt wrong with the scripts for series 2!

It's not often I agree with Stott - largely on account of him being a blithering buffoon - but he's right. Series 2 is a great piece of work.

Was just enjoying the latest one of these, only to see at the end that the next Ep won't be till February! Bah.

Have watched all of theses so far and am liking them, laughed out loud at some of the gags

Lower key than the first two episodes, but no less enjoyable. And I was impressed by the number of famous folk Norfolk has produced.

Whistling nnocently

The last two Partridge episodes have been great. Back to form.

Cock piss Fosters!

Yeah, you shit!

I haven't watched any episodes since... episode two? I got a bit bored, but will probably catch up over the new year holiday.

Dull as piss. Coogan's f**king lost it if he's taking the Foster's shilling. The character is nothing without situation.

F**king internet this and internet that.

C**ts.

Happy New Year.

Is this back today? Hope so. I thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the run.
