Christmas Page 2

They have no joy in their hearts. Some people refuse to have artificial trees though, which is fair enough, but then they get all pissy about needles. In on the 24th, out on the 2nd. That's how they work.

Wankers.

What is with people who don't put the tree up until Christmas Eve?

WHAT IS THE POINT?

Now, see, that's a personal and strange one.
When my daughter was little (prob up to about school age) I used to wait for her to go to bed on Christmas eve night and then run round for hours doing the tree/decoration thing. I used to pretend to be asleep on Christmas morning so that she'd find it all and she'd be blown away. I used to have to pretend that Santa had done it and be all surprised.
It was really lovely.

Okay, okay.
If Santa is involved, I will retract my earlier statements!
*wipes away sentimental tear*

:D

Anyone still believe in Santa? I do.

Lovey Lovey xxxx Lovey Lovey

Maybe I should add that I no longer put up a tree and daughter doesn't talk to me!!! Whistling nnocently

Well, the two may be connected.

Nah, I think it was moving house while she was at school that did it!

:O
My grandma actually did that to my dad.

(Well, if you swap 'at school' for 'in the navy'.)

Are they still talking? Clairvoyants don't count!

Anyway, of course there's no Santa! Everyone knows that. There is a Father Christmas though. :)

christmas eve is for wrapping presents, watching a film, drinking booze that you wouldn't normally drink - for me whisky or gin - and eating nibbles. and hoping it snows. but it never does.

I love Advent Calendars :D Mine's actually going to get me through the long weeks of school I think
