My boss asked me not to go in last week because they're not very busy right now. Same thing just happened about this week. I called her and she said that while she will definitely need me the week after this, she can't guarantee January/February, and I can't keep not earning money so.

Yep. I'm very upset and angry, especially as she could have just told me without me calling her up that she might have to let me go for financial reasons.

I thought about this last week, but I don't have a written contract. I have a verbal one as such, but if I ask for a written one now, then she might just not put contracted hours I guess.
