The Apprentice - Series 6 Page 35

Gutted that the ever more twattish boys didn't lose, really want to see smug Jamie fired, he really is a clueless, oily, tosspot who loves himself far too much.

Laura went on past performance rather than this task, she was too much of a whinger and never asserted herself on the tasks.

Interesting to see the previously nice Liz get her claws out in the living room, though that was very bitchy, she was clearly trying to turn the rest of the candidates against Stella, sensing perhaps that she was already becoming unpopular with the boys, it might work as a tactic but I lost some respect for her.

Problem was the girls treated it like a shopping trip. All those shops! Just as well they didn't have to get shoes or they'd of all still been there.

Thing is, it clearly bothers Stella. The poor carries the hurt around on her face. I felt quite sorry for her.

That's quality work GT Laughing out loud

Thanks Gerry. I wrote it for you. (by the looks of it).

As usual blokes bought bloody nothing but still won, a fact of bloody life, un bloody fair.
Sick of references to female 'bitchiness'- why?-chaps are as bad?.

Nothing unfair about it. Fact was Girls had better planning boys better negotiating skills (even if that included the biggest load of bull in Christendom).
What the girls can't seem to do is leave the bickering in the boardroom. It's the same where I teach I'm afraid. Boys have a barny it's over in minutes. Girls have a barny it could last forever.

The candidates in this show make X-Factor contestants look like the inner circle of Mensa. Anybody whose ultimate ambition is to work for a grumpy, grubby little troll like Lord Sugar deserves to be given a suitcase full of tee-shirts depicting Kim Jong Il as a fat, transsexual goat molester with paedophile tendencies and a one-way ticket to North Korea.

I'll take it! I haven't had a holiday in ages.

It's not their ultimate ambition. Hardly any of the previous Apprentice winners are still working for Sugar. It's just a springboard to raising their own profiles and launching their own businesses.

I think next time I get something wrong at work I'm going to try the "Story Trick"
I had your Salary it was all ready to go into your account as planned when suddenly I had to buy a Birthday present for my Grans Christenin and basically I need you to get off the phone because I'm just about to organize my long lost brothers stag night.

Good episode.
It's my favourite task, I loved the series where they were in the Flea Market

Point taken. They're all wannabe celebs in pinstripe suits and pencil skirts. They don't even need the job, as they already have well paid careers. Why don't they choose a bunch of contestants who are on the dole and have never achieved anything greater than "employee of the month" in some crappy burger bar, but are willing to learn and eager to give ten million percent? I'd imagine that would appeal to Lord Sugar's pull yourself up by your bootstraps mentality. It would certainly give the show an edge that is sadly missing.

Kate Walsh is the perfect example of an Apprentice contestant who has used the show to further her career. It's a shame she didn't win. We might have been spared the horrors of her "skills" as a TV presenter.

The whole point is it's about driven succesful ruthless competing.

The alternative is Big Brother.

Chavs are boring except when they're rutting, fighting or drinking.

Looks a good one tonight with them having to run a tour guide task. Also I think it's the last proper programme, as next week might be the interviews, then the final.

Ooh, I like the interviews. Oh god, Baggs has to stay for the interviews!

I would pay good money to keep him in the show until the psychological interview stage, that really will be "must watch TV".
