I'll be having a nut roast I think.

Are all your fambly Veggie?

No they're not.

Also, shock horror - I am no longer veggie. I've pretty much eaten every single type of meat this weekend.

;)

I was out for Christmas day and had steak
I was out for Boxing day and had sea bass
I am out today and don't know what meat I will have. I may or may not update this post later.

Elliot's vegetarian, and I do often wonder about trying it too, but I'd really have to research it and be good at taking my iron supplements (I'm anaemic) or I would end up very ill indeed. The thing that would drive me mental is checking absolutely everything. We had this discussion last night. Fanta isn't vegetarian, and neither are Party Rings among other things. It would just be so frustrating I think.

It is quite annoying sometimes. But that's because my gf is vegan, so it does limit a lot of store bought products. But there's a lot of veggie options to choose from. As Elliot may have told you, there's a surprising amount of meat-flavoured food out there that is actually vegetarian, that you wouldn't even realise was.

A lot of supplements, vitamins and proteins are artificially inserted into veggie products, so you should be ok. But it's always best to, like you said research these things.

It's always worth a try, if it doesn't work out then at least you can learn to cut down your meat intake and get a good balance.

Also, you will miss your favourite foods. But after a while it's really not a big deal. You just get used to it and if you're lucky find an alternative.

I don't really eat that much meat anyway, but we shall see!

Good luck, Scats! Good luck.

Do you suffer from the meat guilts? (ie feeling bad about the dead animals) or are you just generally curious?

I thought you said "meat quilts" then. Like some sort of Lady Gaga bedroom accessories..

Sick
