My father had 2 menus when it was time to feed the 3 kids because my mother wasn't around: fried egg sandwiches and macaroni & cheese.
That's the extent of my husband's cooking abilities.
Fried egg sandwiches are ace
With all his atom bomb testing I can imagine him roasting a turkey by hugging it and blasting it with radiation
Just eated 8 mini bagels. That should keep me going until dinner. 
For lunch I baked a baguette (sp) and filled it with cheddar cheese and onion relish. NOM.

The bread was still warm so the cheese went all soft but not melty
