Ivan and the dogs

Not sure if this is the correct place - sorry if it isn't mods!

Just found this on the BBC Writersroom site and thought it was brilliant, apparently its a stage play now as well.

Hope you enjoy it.

THE BACKGROUND:
I did the trip and read the script. I found the humour beneath my feet
and beyond my grasp. In fact, I got the impression that it was a work
that was bereft of humour. And, in another fact, it was so depressing
I would even say that it was in no way funny.
This is the BCG and the 'C' stands for comedy - or so I believe?

THE QUESTION:
What is the purpose of this humourless link? Is the humourlessness,
in itself, an inverted form of humour. If so, it was far too subtle
for me.

Christ, I hope you're not a real person.

Of course I'm not. I'm a lymph in an Avatar.

As I said in the origional post I wasn't sure if it was the correct place.
I know that it is the BCG but this is the writers forum - surely not everything has to be about comedy but also about writing in general. I thought that Ivan and the dogs was a great example of writing and wanted to share with fellow writers. I hope that answers your question.

David - as per usual you put it much more succintly than I could. Cheers.
