There are certain things that signal christmas for me. Obviously getting a tree and putting up decorations but the coke ad is one of them. Actually I wish they would reshow past Christmas ads like the British Electric one with the moving electric pylons, the Toys R Us one, the Coke Polar Bear One. I'm off to find them on youtube

The 25 Dec celebration starts officially on 1 Dec I reckon. Huzzah! Looking forward to some time with my Dad and kids.
But as for the true meaning of the 25 Dec celebration, whatever you want it to be is probably the most correct answer, as demonstrated admirably by the Christians.
But I am all for Peace, Love and Goodwill to all at this and all times of the year! Except criminals committing illegal acts of course or 'criminals' committing 'legal criminal acts' like banks and politicians!
