The second of mine and my occasional comedy partners sketches for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young. Recored on Friday 5th February 2010 the sketch involves us discussing James Coard's trip to Bath for his 2012 Olympic medical check up, James Coard buying a ford fiesta because he thinks it's Mexican and James Coard talking about being related to Tutankhamen because they've drunk the same water.
James, I realise you've put this in Showcase and aren't looking for a Critique.
Listening to it made me realise how Ricky Gervais has taken possession of the 'That is Mental' line.
A couple of years ago, when buying The Complete Extras SCripts in HMV, I said to the assistant:
'£2.99. That is mental!'
