Personally don't love the sketch - I feel if it was reworded it may pack more of a comical punch.

it would probably work well as one of those gags that presnters make like jonathan ross or graham norton when they are opening their shows. in fact you should send it to norton, i bet he would use it.
Yes, you're not the first to suggest that idea. I'm not know for writing out and out jokes, i tend to stumble across them by accident. I've been telling that one for over twelve months around Bradford, whilst i have had the odd groan, it's also got many laughs. perhaps it would benefit from a re-wording.
