Due to losing literally half of one of my finger nails due to a terrible alcohol related sock incident, I am chopping off all of my lovely fingernails.

Now when I say half a nail, you must first consider that they were already very long. It's short enough that it looks f**king weird, but not short enough to look disgusting!

I've chopped all of my nails off now- I'm not used to being able to feel my fingertips like this. It feels awful. They'll have grown back in no time though.

I think nail varnish looks better on shorter fingernails. Less claw like.

Oh no not nearly that bad. Has exposed some tender skin though I took pictures so I could document the emotional pain I am feeling now.

I love my long nails- file them most days so they can't get freakishly long and tallon-like.

I tried to remove a sock with a bit too much vigour when getting into bed after a boozy Friday night. Mistake. Lots of pain.

Almost all of my Christmas shopping done in an hour and a half; BOOM.
