Yes, of course you can do more in a series, but it's not the first TV show to deal with how people cope with an appocalyse. Jericho, Threads, Dark Angel, Survivors and The Last Train have all done it to varying degrees of success. Now I'm as excited as the next chap about this show, but let's not pretend it's invented the wheel.

I don't think anyone is, you're the only one who has mentioned that. You weirdo. All that was said is that the show is more about the characters than zombie action.

No, he was saying what I just said, that (The comic at least, we'll have to see how far the TV show goes)is not a wall to wall zombie gore-fest, it's more interested in these characters surviving. So if anyone was disappointed by the lack of zombie action, they may have to get used to it. He didn't mention it being in some way unique or new. Ball face.

How about the people Bussell was actually replying to who seemed to be expressing some disappointment at the lack of zombie action in episode 3? Hmm?

children, children. I did say that if it was drama with those character I wasn't interested since they are so 2d it makes Fred Flintstone look like Morgan Freeman. And you are correct it was being addressed to me about the action which is fine I get it lol lets not make this into another Dr Who thread :P

In fairness, I expect the characters to be fleshed out more as the show goes on. Right now the show is pretty dialogue light being as we're in the intial stages of the survival game. Even the best characters often start out looking a little shallow in the early stages of a series.

I thought the wife beater character was a bit on the nose evil. And not a character from the comic, either.

That's why I'd of liked them to stay with a smaller group intially. but hey. I'll keep watching see what happens. it's nice to have something that isn't reality or gameshow on TV so that should be supported.

That said, I'd totally watch a zombie reality show. Zombie Come Dancing anyone?

Come Dine On Brains With Me?

Property Cadaver?

:D

I was just pointing out, to Nat, that there was more zombie action is episode 4 as she'd pointed out (as had I) that episode 3 was light on it. I'm not chomping at the bit for more action, as long as the overall quality stays high. I'm still watching.
