Boyd's a good writer. Snob!

But not much of story teller - in my, admittedly limited, experience, he gives the impression of building up to something revelatory only to peter out in the most obvious fashion possible.

We haven't seen that yet, which is amazing, given that we're all superhero crazy.

Have you seen any of the Batman Superman stuff? There is a new one out called Superman Shazam: Return of Black Adam. It's really nice looking.

We've seen some, but it's hard with the kids in school. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
Quote: EllieJP @ November 21 2010, 9:32 PM GMTI have just been watching three hours of shite TV. The Cube first of all... Dire! Then X-Factor with the fixing going on and now Im a Celebrity with the most mal nutrioned dietician ever.
Have you broken both your arms and legs and had your eyelids forced open?
You know that's all crap.
Yeah, you don't want Kevin calling you vacuous again!
Watched Harry Potter: Behind the Magic on ITV1 earlier.
Being a heterosexual bloke, I've not read the books or seen the films, but quite an enjoyable hour nonetheless.
Well, our version of Top Gear starts tonight...at the same time as The Walking Dead...I wish this was a tougher decision to make.

Staying at a friends so I have no control over the remote!
"Accused" on BBC1. Mackenzie Crook is acting up a storm. Blinding performance.
Coppers. We should ban stupid people from drinking alcohol.
I first got into Sherlock Holmes watching the Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce B Movies from the 1940's. Since then I've read the books and watched the Jeremy Brett series and since have just constantly watched Brett as it is a much more accurate portrayal of Holmes and Watson (Holmes a theorist, not an avenger and Watson an intellegent man, not a buffoon). However though after a long break, I've been watching the Rathbone films again and have instantly fallen in love with them. Yes there unrealistic and corny, Nigel Bruce's Watson is a fool yet immensley likeable and Rathbone is a great Holmes. So I've really got into them and am watching about two a day. Going to stick one on tonight before bed.
Basil Rathbone is the only convincing Holmes I've ever seen.
