The Walking Dead Page 9

Getting ready to watch a new one tonight!!!

It's not easy but I'm going to hold off until Wednesday to watch it and drink beer with my neighbors. I'll make do with Dexter tonight.

You've got more willpower than I do.

I'm a little behind on my viewing so I'll catch up on Thursday's shows.

Thank God for the DVR and On-Demand channels.

Thank God for Usenet and benevolent pirates. I haven't had cable for almost 2 years.

We have crappity internet service, otherwise I'd be a little more devious.

What about Thank God for the beer?

What about Thank God for the beer?

God is in the beer.

Well he should wee somewhere else. Angry

God's wee is probably tastier than the finest pint of ale.

Episode three was good, but quite light on the zombies. I hope all three of the 'hick' fellas get eaten up. OM NOM NOM.

They are all Hicks. There are only three characters so once it's slimmed down I think will be better. Ep 3 did nothing for me.

Episode 4 has more zombie action, although it felt less tense overall.

To all those people watching the show just for zombie action, prepare to be disappointed. If they continue to follow the tone of the comics (and it appears they will), the drama will increasingly focus on the interplay between the survivors, with the threat of the undead kept to the fringes. Budget will inform that decision too. That's really what The Walking Dead is about anyway - the humans being the subject of the title.
