It's Friday - annoying puzzle day! Page 63

I have a hunch the picture link may be botanical. Maybe roots or teas.

Could 14 be an octillion?

17 is Ken Russell (takes the pressure off those of you pretending not to know)

Copper & Octillion are both correct.

I got Octillion right today but I was just guessing.

Yes Ken Russell.

Earth and venus?

I don't know
I was asking you

:D

I may be wrong, but I think some of our earlier probes reached some of the outer plantets before we got round to visiting Mars.

If 1 is the Higgs boson I'll be very upset I missed the news.

I want to say 7 is Mike from Neighbours.

Depends what 'visited means' There are only three planets in our solar system that have a solid surface and we've landed on two of them - venus and mars.

If by visited they mean flew past and took pictures then it's many more. Although when I drive past my mate's house I don't count that as having visited him. (Then again I don't usually take any pictures).

Mercury was pretty solid last time I visited.

I was including mercury and excluding earth. The russians sent two probes to venus. one failed immediately and the other landed and sent back a picture before being crushed by the 700 times earth's gravity or whatever it is.

I think it lasted twenty minutes.

Ah.
