Where are you spending Christmas? Page 6

If you don't have any money to spare on silly presents, baking someone a present is fine by me!

Spending Christmas with my family, here in my house with my fella. My kids are lazy and stay in bed late so we don't have all that frantic ripping open of presents at three in the morning leaving a day full of nothing but turkey and sprouts. In fact, they never did get up early. I guess they've got used to expecting crap presents every year and can't see the point in burrowing into their pile of gifts any sooner than five minutes before dinner's on the table. If I hadn't purposely contrived the whole thing each year for a cheeky lay-in, not to mention time in the kitchen with a naughty bottle of plonk without interruption, I'd be deeply offended.

How did you get into my secret wardrobe? Is that why the hoola girl outfit is missing. Give it back.

That sucks, is he in intensive care?

Offer to do his care (even if you don't) ?

Oo, I missed that post earlier. I don't think he will be in intensive care on Christmas day but you have a good point, as we can probably give him better care than some of the hospital staff.

Gonna take it back eh?

If you save them work the staff can be friendlier...

Who gives cake as a present? That's not a thing is it?

Quote: EllieJP @ November 16 2010, 5:20 PM GMT

I've never received a cake for Christmas, but I'd like to. I love cake.

Mmmmm, cake. I might have another cake.

I wonder if we can mention cake in all the other threads. It's been a cake sort of day today.

YOU STARTED THIS, YOU STRUMPET.

F**k it, I'm eating another cake.

Never mind that, that's MY skirt!

Yes. At Christmas particularly. No doubt the Salvation Army, Women's institute and other great people who give up their time for hospital patients will be allowed in anytime. I think they have as much chance of spreading infection as visitors.

And Jimmy Saville!

And Noel Edmonds!

My mum just came into the room and literally proclaimed that Christmas was happening at our house this year. The preliminary guest list is 7 people long, plus the five of our family. Mum hasn't even asked 3 of her siblings yet.

I will be spending Christmas being cramped!

Haha! Just refuge here!
